Chase Athlete Ethan Puc Sets Sights on Impressive Cross Country Titles

Chase senior Ethan Puc is considered the best runner the school has ever seen, holding every running record. And while he soon will be running to defend his Waterbury City Championship and break the Bucks Hill course record, he also has his sights set on larger goals.
Thanksgiving weekend, Puc will be attempting to qualify for the Foot Locker Nationals at the East Coast regional. To do this, he will have to finish in the Top 10, and he is currently training to help meet that goal. First and foremost, however, he is most looking forward to the success of his team as a whole.
"What I am most proud of so far is what we have accomplished as a team," said Puc. "We are undefeated in our league, and as the team captain acting as a role model and leader of the team, that success is something that really makes me happy."
Already holding multiple titles, including the Housatonic Valley Athletic League and New England Prep School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Division 4 championships from last year, the entire Chase Collegiate team wishes him the best of luck as he embarks on his newest goals for the year!
